CREATING A NEW CATEGORY
To help usher Pyrex into the gadgets category with their first “tech” product, I led the design of a new line of kitchen tools and gadgets for Pyrex including a kitchen timer plus analogue and digital thermometers.
Digital Timer : Twist the outer ring to set the timer, press the screen to start / stop.
DIGITAL INSTANT-read THERMOMETER
Instead of looking up the temperature for each type of meat, simply select what you are cooking from the menu, how done you want it and the thermometer tells you the target temperature & reads current temperature, giving you a visual of how close to 'done' you are.
